Fiona is a patent agent who specializes in drafting patent applications, patent amendments and responses to office actions generated by the Patent and Trademark Office. Fiona has worked with lawyers in North American, Europe, South America and the Far East to gather the necessary documents to complete patent applications and appropriately respond to office actions.

Fiona attended the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, concentrating on biochemistry. After working in South Africa as a technical assistant specializing in intellectual property law and business litigation, Fiona moved to Canada where she was a paralegal for one of Canada’s largest intellectual property law firms drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparation of trademark and copyright applications, drafting assignments, and legal research.
