Ryan is an associate patent attorney at Sand, Sebolt and Wernow. His practice is limited exclusively to intellectual property law. Particularly, he focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, trademark preparation, and copyright law.
In his practice of patent prosecution, Ryan has drafted patent applications relating to medical devices, particularly towards orthopedic prostheses, such as total knee arthroplasty prostheses, total hip arthroplasty prostheses, spinal prostheses, etc., and minimally invasive devices, particularly towards catheters. In addition, Ryan has drafted other patent application relating to weapons and missile systems, countermeasure systems, woodworking devices, and other mechanical and/or electromechanical devices.
Outside the office, Ryan enjoys sporting activities, such as golf and weight training, spending time with his family, and helping serve his local community.
