Managing Partner Joe Sebolt has been selected to the Ohio Super Lawyers list, an honor reserved for no more than five percent of attorneys in the state. In addition, attorney Howard Wernow has been recognized as a Rising Star from 2019 through 2025, and attorney Ryan Zawada has been named to the Ohio Rising Stars list for the second year in a row. The Rising Star recognition is awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys under age 40 or who have been in practice for 10 years or less.
Joe Sebolt has extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, licensing, protection of trade secrets and other business contracts. He keeps an active international practice and regularly handles the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications outside the United States. Currently serving as managing partner for the firm, Joe represents a wide range of clients for major corporations and middle-market companies.
Howard Wernow is a partner and registered patent attorney whose practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, IP litigation and global intellectual property strategy for clients across a wide range of industries. He helps clients develop strategic intellectual property through well-crafted patent applications.
Ryan Zawada is an associate and registered patent attorney who focuses on patent preparation and prosecution along with trademark preparation and copyright law. Ryan prepares patent and design applications in a wide array of industries to include mechanical, electromechanical, medical devices and software-related inventions.
